What's All This Then?

TLDR: We're trying to fund raise to get a more powerful laptop and server click here to chip in.

Mean Pies is a passion project that has been unleashed upon the world. It has all been created by one man Matt Carkeek, once it was up and running it got discovered by the media and was featured on this Stuff article, Radio interviews with RNZ, The Breeze, More FM, The Platform and TV interviews with Seven Sharp and One News Breakfast.

It was crazy getting to chat about Mean Pies with the likes of Paddy Gower, Jeremy Wells and Hilary Barry!

Since this the masses have descended upon Mean Pies, thank you all so much! This made it clear I needed to iron out any bugs (oh so many bugs) and try to keep up with demand.

To cope with development of what has become quite a massive project! I am in need of a more powerful laptop and backend server. I am just a regular dude working a full time job and I work on Mean Pies in my spare time.

If you are keen and able to help out I have started a crowdfund page with Give A Little to try and raise some funds to make that happen here is the link.

Mean Pies will stay free to use for everyone for as long as I can keep up with the server costs and everything else that goes along with it.

I really appreciate all the support and emails from everyone. It makes my day to see so many pie reviews thank you so much!
